Green Expo Agenda
Going Green EXPO, April 12, 2008 at the USF Sun Dome, Tampa
The EXPO is a multifaceted event, with exhibitors, speakers, workshops, and films about going green, both as a consumer and as a business.
We anticipate several thousand attendees at Getting Green by Going Green, including students, business owners & members of the public, & we’d like you to be a part of it. The EXPO is intended to:
- Showcase goods, services, information & ideas about renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable design, resource efficient development & green building
- Foster growth of local sustainable product lines or services;
- Stimulate community-wide interest in sustainability, & jump starts actions to avert climate change
- Feature sustainability-related careers
- Expose Tampa Bay to the nation & world as an excellent place to grow a business or industry.
The event itself will be held on the Tampa Campus of the University of South Florida. The Sun Dome will house all of the exhibitors, including hybrid cars, Electric Vehicles (EVs), Biofuel Trucks, solar vendors, green builders, etc.
How to get involved
You can become part pf the Green movement in the Tampa Bay Area by doing one or more of the following things:

Come to the EXPO on April 12. 10 am to 4pm - Admission is free, so encourage your family, friends, and coworkers to come too. Click here to get a poster handout you can print, distribute, and email to other like-minded people. |
