EXPO Schedule Coming Together
An exciting schedule of special EXPO events is out in draft form for the April 12th Going Green EXPO.
Building Green is a reality today
The www.GoingGreenTampaBay.com website has a new and more complete schedule of the workshops, speakers, and movies that are planned for the Saturday, April 12th EXPO. The USF Sun Dome will literally be overflowing with green exhibitors, a children's activities area, food, sustainability art, poster contest display, alternative fuel vehicles. The speakers include Roberta Fernandez of PlanetPartnership.com, who will be talking about practical steps everyone can take to cut back on carbon emmissions that contribute to global warming.
Two other sessions of workshops will cover everything from energy saving tips from TECO, smart ways to compost and save water in the yard, and how to build a "green" house. Check the schedule often, as we are adjusting and adding new workshops every week. Some of the workshops require advanced registration, so please note which ones you wish to attend.
The Going Green EXPO is focused on practical things each of us can do to stop climate change. There are still opportunities to help by exhibiting or sponsoring the event. See you at the EXPO!
